Thank you for stopping by my internet home. My name is Dariela Vasquez. I am a first-generation Dominican somatic psychotherapist, trauma and grief specialist, researcher, and educator.

I have over 10 years of experience as a therapist, advocate, social worker, and educator. I combine my clinical training ( Internal Family Systems, Jungian Psychoanalysis, EMDR, and Depth Psychology) with ancestral wisdom and knowledge (somatics, cyclical living, storytelling, earth-based wisdom, and womb health).

My passion for community, healing spaces, and heart-centered mental health services comes from my upbringing and early years of service in my local community center.

I come with years of experience in the field and my personal experiences as a person who has experienced trauma and loss at a young age.

I come with wisdom from my elders and those who came before me, as I am passionate about stories, especially our generational stories.

I come with wisdom from my childhood, sessions, adult life, my healing journey, my trauma and grief research, and my love affair with books.

I serve my communities by providing somatic psychotherapy, grief sessions, community classes, and advocacy.

I am a therapist & an educator- I am here to serve.
