the intention behind the work

Therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all; we are all walking a different path. My approach to this work is to help you on your path, to see you, and, at times, to walk with you as you navigate real life and grow a life that feels like yours.

I integrate my clinical training with a real-life approach. Everyone’s journey is different. Together, we create a space rooted in care and community. As a witness to your journey, I become a loving mirror that holds space for your experiences, teaches you how to connect to your heart, and empowers you as you grow a life that feels like yours.

I specialize in:

  • Grief/ Loss

  • Childhood trauma & Grief

  • Depression

  • Intergenerational trauma & Ancestral Healing

  • Body Trauma

  • Women's Health

  • First-generation Mental Health

  • Therapy for Mental Health Professionals

I have over ten years of experience working with women and girls. My approach has been shaped by those that I serve, my lived experiences as a first-gen woman, and the teaching of the wise teachers I have had along the way.

The care I offer is holistic and comprehensive, honoring your mind, body, spirit & soul.

  • I blend Depth Psychology with Internal Family Systems to help you not only understand your parts (feelings), but also to empower you as you reclaim your narrative and come home to your body. After we experience trauma, parts of our soul may learn how to live outside of the body. Storytelling is an ancestral practice of belonging and healing. When we share our stories in a space that validates them and holds them with love, shame loses its power over us. Our stories are our power.

  • I blend somatic practices & cyclical care to honor your body’s experiences and help you cultivate more compassion for it.

why vitual?

Planting Seeds Somatic Therapy opened right as the world shut down. What started as a small-town private practice became a statewide practice offering services to people across all areas of NY. The reality is that only 8% of therapists identify as Latina, and finding, let alone connecting with, a therapist who “gets it” can be hard. Therefore, virtual therapy gives folks the opportunity to connect with a therapist and may break a barrier or two of accessibility.

What is a somatic therapy session like? Somatic therapy integrates mind and body in healing, focusing on nervous system regulation, awareness, and embodied processing. Sessions may include guided mindfulness, breathwork, and movement to help you feel more present and grounded.

How do you incorporate ancestral healing in sessions? Our stories are our medicine; they are a form of expression that has the power to free us from the cycles of the past and create space for new cycles rooted in compassion and respect. In session, we hold space for your stories, body, and language- you will learn how to honor your emotions and embrace your expression.

How do I know if we’re a good fit? Therapy is a deeply personal experience, and finding the right therapist is crucial. I invite you to schedule a consultation to explore how I can support your journey.
