Embracing Body-Centered Living

This spring has invited many of us to slow down and tune in.

We want to rush, but we are learning that we need our presence, attention, and focus.

We want to do everything, but the constant pressure shuts us down.

We want to spring into action, but our bodies are teaching us to slow down and be intentional with our time and energy.

Spring teaches us that we can give ourselves guidance and direction when we listen to our bodies, connect with ourselves, and receive our wisdom, truths, and stories.

We have learned repeatedly that to rush through it all is to live the same cycle again.

Integration of our stories empowers us and validates our bodies’ experiences.

This is Body-Centered Living, a life that honors and considers the body, both the individual and the collective.

This way of living is revolutionary.

Becoming the Body & Embracing Your Wisdom

Full Moon Reflections Awaken Earth Wisdom

he moon is a beautiful example of wholeness

The moon is always whole, even when she is not fully seen.

She takes time to be with herself.

She shares her light in her own time, when it honors her.

She honors her cycle, each phase a lesson, a rest point, and enough.

She teaches us patience, presence, and process.

She reminds us to embrace our cycles.

She teaches us how to honor ourselves in every phase, and that every phase is sacred.

The moon is full tonight- her light illuminates what has been hidden in the dark.

Full moons invite us to reflect: What is stirring up within me? What feels big within me? How can I support my body in releasing old emotions?

Grounded Wisdom: Preparing the body for Spring

The earth is changing, and as the earth changes, so do we.

In winter, we are in the dark; spring returns the light.

This changes how we experience life; our lens expands during this time of year due to the physical changes in our environment. Opening the window for the first time in months brings fresh air and life into the home, inviting creativity and new beginnings.

New beginnings bring us back to the body- we are reunited with ourselves after months of being in the dark. Spring gives us insight and vision into the next chapter of our lives. In spring, we grow up and become.

SOUL Nourishment: Becoming the Body’s Wisdom

Grief was a great teacher this past week in my practice—reminding us to slow down and offer ourselves our own medicine. You may be wondering, What is my medicine?

Tending to the Body in the Dark

A guide for Honoring Collective Grief

“Like heals like.” This saying, shared by many Indigenous communities, reminds us that healing begins where we are—where we are rooted. Just as the earth nourishes the seed in the dark, so does our body hold the potential for growth in times of stillness. To care for the body is to honor it in all its forms, especially in moments of grief. Allow yourself to be with your body this season—slow down, feel the weight of your emotions, and trust that your body is tending to the deep work even if it doesn’t feel visible. Movement, breath, and rest are all part of the sacred rhythm.
